Collaborations

Bird Academy has been constantly collaborating with various educational institutes, organizations, government bodies and authorities to offer customized courses.Today, Bird Academy works closely with many prestigious universities, colleges and institutions to offer a vast menu of courses including Global Distribution System Training (Amadeus). Bird Academy aims to promote and provide vocational training to college students , existing workers, graduates etc. We endeavor to improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure available in Government, Private institutions and the Industry. It also builds capacity in the area of development of competency standards, course curricula, learning material and assessment standards in the country. Our unique skill delivery process begins with the identification of jobs and ends with the placement of trained youth in various verticals of the group and industry. We provide employment opportunities to educated unemployed youth outside the government sector and aim to ensure that every youth leaves with a qualification that is recognized and is valued by the employers. Our training will ultimately provide them with the skills necessary to succeed at work from the day one.

MUNDUS

Another significant collaboration is with Mundus. MUNDUS which is a computer based Amadeus training software for imparting travel training developed by Mundus Institute based in Hawaii, USA - Electronic Travel Aids (wing of Bird Group) is the licensor for India and Bird Academy is the facilitator for installation and familiarization with the software and also delivers the training on the software to students.

DGCA

Academy is an accredited training centre by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation which runs courses under Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) which is mandatory for the personnel in Airlines , Ground Handling and other critical airport operations . As DGR training school training are offered to staff of Airlines , GHA’s and other airport stakeholders . Academy has signed agreements with Airlines and Ground Handling Agencies for conducting DGR traings Some of the premium clients are – Air Vistara , Celebi ,Delhi Cargo Management Pvt. Ltd, Celebi Airport Service India Pvt Ltd, Mak Airways Pvt Ltd ,Airport Authority of India, CG logistics Pvt Ltd , Sky Airways Pvt Ltd ,Zoom Air Pvt Ltd ,Virgin Atlantic Cargo etc.

IATA

Bird Academy is an accredited institute of International Air Transport Association (IATA) since the year 2002. IATA Training Development Institute (ITDI) which imparts diploma and certificate courses in tourism, aviation, cargo disciplines as a part of distance learning program through its Authorized Centers, . As DGR training school offers training to staff of Airlines , GHA’s and other airport stakeholders – Air Vistara , Celebi ,Delhi Cargo Management Pvt. Ltd, Celebi Airport Service India Pvt Ltd, Mak Airways Pvt Ltd ,Airport Authority of India, CG logistics Pvt Ltd , Sky Airways Pvt Ltd ,Zoom Air Pvt Ltd ,Virgin Atlantic Cargo etc. We offer IATA courses which includes GDS Fares and Ticketing, Foundation, Consultant, Cargo, Introductory Cargo Rating, Managing the Travel Business, Passenger Ground Services. Also being the IATA Regional Training Partner (RTP) offers regulatory requirement courses - Document Control Systems, SMS, QMS, Passenger Assessment and Travel Document, Train The Trainer (TTT).

AMSDC

The academy was also instrumental in setting up India’s first ever national skill development center called the Aviation Multi Skill Development Centre. The Centre was inaugurated in 2018 by the then Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri P Ashok Gajapathi Raju. A hallmark of Aviation training and skill development in India, it is the first centre of its kind in the country, running from an actual airport terminal. This centre is a joint collaboration of Bird Academy, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Airports Authority of India (AAI). The project is a CSR initiative of AAI and the academy was awarded the project after careful selection through the submitted tender. AMSDC is a unique project for skilling as well as up-skilling, in Aviation Sector and empowering unemployed, underprivileged youth to head start a promising career in aviation. A total of 1494 candidates have been trained till date free of cost.Courses Offered: Airline Customer Service Executive ; Airline Reservation Agent ; Airline Cargo Assistant ;Airline Ramp Executive.

Sikkim

Bird Academy proposed to The Sikkim Forest and Environment Department of Sikkim Government for imparting training to 26 persons from the level of Range Officers to Environmental assistants on customer service, administrative duties, grooming and self-presentation skills, etiquette, communication skills, customer service and listening skills. The training proposal was approved and the training was successfully delivered by the instructors from Bird Academy from 9th -11th Feb 2022 at Forest Secretariat ,Gangtok, Sikkim.

IITFC with MOT & IITTM

Bird Academy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) for imparting an especially designed Soft Skills Training Program to more than 3000 participants of the Incredible India Tourist Facilitator Certification (IITFC) Programme. The program has been crafted by the team of experts at Bird Academy for the participants registered with Ministry of Tourism for Incredible India Tourist Facilitator Certification Programme. The training focusses on customer service, grooming & etiquette and communication in tour guiding. The training is being imparted via an eight-hour power packed live and interactive online training programme, over two days.
